Bakery Student Reviews: Introduction to Cyanotypes with Meredith Kennedy

We gathered at the Bakery on a hot sunny day in June to learn the alternative process of cyanotype. The class was taught by Meredith Kennedy, and assisted by Maya Attean. We sold out of our spots for this class, so it was a full house! Read what students had to say about this course, and see some photos of the workshop as well as the results from the students work.

This was a great introduction to cyanotype - thorough, concise, and a lot of fun. No previous experience of any kind necessary.

I had a lot of fun! I love that the class size was so small. I felt comfortable asking questions and for help. Meredith was very kind and patient the entire time. Maya was helpful and attentive to all of the prep work for materials, which helped everyone create more efficiently. I sincerely enjoyed my time and would recommend the course to anyone!

Our Group Cyanotype!

I was impressed by the layout of materials and Meredith’s professionalism at teaching. Maya was a big help, too. I learned about various techniques for a cyanotype and I not only had a little fun but I learned and practiced enough to feel confident about performing this process myself. And I feel more creative because of it.
